Trinity Corporate Profile

The executive management of the Trinity team are as follows:

Kenneth M. Hodge

Ken is the Managing Director of Trinity. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) having qualified in 1995 and holds a practicing certificate from the ACCA to practice accountancy in the British Virgin Islands. In addition, he is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having gained this qualification in 2007.

He is also a graduate of Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in accounting and finance.

Ken’s extensive experience comes from having worked in the offshore industry for over 13 years. Before joining Trinity he was employed as the Director of Trust and Corporate Administration for one of the major trust companies in the BVI with responsibilities including, inter alia, administration of all forms of trusts (including Private Trust Companies (PTCs), VISTA trusts, Purpose Trusts, Discretionary Trusts, etc.). His portfolio also extended to, among other things, administered companies, registration and ongoing administration of BVI vessels as well as reviewing and approving accounts prepared for trusts, administered companies and mutual funds.

Ken is the past Chairman of the National Bank of the Virgin Islands and was the founding President of the BVI Association of Professional Accountants. He has also served for two years on the Board of the Association of Registered Agents and was a member of the BVI’s Marketing and Advisory Committee for several years and presently sits on other industry consultative committees.

Anghel R. George

Anghel is the Finance Director of Trinity. He has been instrumental in the steering of the organization to its current position. In addition to being a well respected entrepreneur in the BVI, Anghel is the former Chief Operating Officer of BVI operations for a Michigan Based Company engaged in resort development in the BVI.

He has also been the Financial Comptroller of a five star resort for a number of years and has facilitated various seminars in the BVI.

Anghel has gained recognition locally and in the Caribbean for his provision of excellent service.
Most notably, he was the recipient of the coveted Caribbean Hotel Association and American Express Supervisor of the Year Award. This award is given to outstanding individuals who exemplify excellence in the Caribbean hospitality service.
Anghel has served four consecutive terms on the Social Security Board and is the inaugural President of the Toastmasters Club in Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands.

Everton L. Knight

Everton is the director of Audit and Business Advisory Services. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh Business School, United Kingdom.

Everton has over 20 years of experience providing accounting, assurance and business advisory services to a wide variety of clients in the financial services industry including banks, investment funds, insurance and trust companies in the British Virgin Islands and Barbados. Prior to joining Trinity Financial Services Ltd, Everton was a senior manager at a PKF (BVI) Limited and PricewaterhouseCoopers, BVI. He also worked at Coopers & Lybrand, Barbados before transferring to PricewaterhouseCoopers, British Virgin Islands.

Everton is a former President and Treasurer of the British Virgin Islands Cricket Association and is a current Member and past Treasurer and Director of the Rotary Club of Tortola.

Kyria Ali

Kyria is solutions driven and enjoys assisting her clients with achieving their objectives. She holds a number of designations across a broad but related spectrum of subject matters which enables her to add value on a multitude of levels.

She is a Certified Chartered Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments and an Enterprise Risk Management Certified Professional.

She is also the immediate past Chairman of the BVI Association of Compliance Officers and the immediate past Chairman of the Captive Insurance Advisory Council in the BVI where she held each position for 2 years, to March 2015 and December 2013 respectfully. She also worked at Baker Tilly (BVI) Limited for 9 years where she headed up the Business Advisory Department.

With over 15 years of practice in the audit and advisory field, her knowledge and experience spans a number of industries and functions. The below is just a summary of some of the areas of Kyria's expertise:

Kyria has a thorough understanding of the role and responsibilities as well as the risks associated with being a director of a regulated entity, having been a director of such an entity herself. In addition, she has worked as a consultant with a number of Boards of Directors and their Executive Management Team in the Eastern Caribbean region, including banks, investment, finance and money service businesses, trust and company management and insurance entities and intermediaries to assist them with the understanding and execution of their various responsibilities. Her ability to view the business from an external as well as internal perspective is invaluable as it leads to the provision of insights typically overlooked.

Kyria has authored a number of articles and chapters on varying subject matters over the years, including but not limited to, a Chapter on FATCA in relation to its offshore impact for LexisNexis, compliance matters for KYC360, the BVI International Finance Centre and Business BVI. She has also been an invited speaker at various conferences and training events within the Caribbean region.
